There are certain misconceptions in people's minds about guitar setup, which are about to turn when it is time to repair your guitar. Repairing the instrument is a skill that takes years of experience, dedication, practice, and hard work. Like a trade, fixing and setting up requires the instrument's investment. Some steps help you to set up your instrument:

1.Playing the instrument

While playing your guitar, make mental notes about the instrument, like how it feels to play the guitar. If it seems odd, you should keep these notes while working.

2.Neck evaluation and truss rod adjustment

The neck evaluation process is one of the most typically dangerous, and you should proceed cautiously. If you are unfamiliar with the evaluation, then you should read about the truss rod adjustment. There are different ways to evaluate the neck, and many people think they can get accurate readings by sighting the neck alone, but it is more than a quick assessment.

3.Bridge/Saddle Height investment

4.Nut checking
